TODAY'S FLOWERS ~ 27 Memories of Spring

Please enlarge for greater enjoyment.

Two white Cyclamen whispering secrets.....

A head of my great purple Lilac, Syrings vulgaris
exuding scent under our bedroom window...

My favourite old world Rhododendron whose name
is lost in th mists of time giving me joy immeasurable...

And the delicate Rose 'Cecile Brunner', its tiny
flowerheads beguiling the senses, covering the arched
side gate into Fern Hill paddock where lambs frolick,
birds sing and the sun sets over the ridge.

Many more flowers hidden in the Logo on the right.

Thanks to Luiz Santilli Jr. and the flower team for
letting us all show off a little.

  1. WHITE cyclamen, wow!
Always knew they were shy, bowing their heads, but from now on I'll think of them as if whispering secrets. :)

  7. I love the lilac Syrings vulgaris and the delicate petals of the cyclamen.

Thank you for your comment on my blog. Arija you are ever so right. Life is a series of exams and the harder we study and prepare for them, the better we are. I would like to think that my exams will be over soon abd that I will only learn out of pleasure but no, it is not. I am so glad life is an open book exam though, I have my family and my friends and I really do need a helping hand sometimes. In fact I really need the answer from them or at least help me to find the answer. You helped me, thank you.

  28. Wonderful spring flowers to remember while going into winter. Lilac and its delightful scent. The pink CB rose has for me the best rose scent as it is carried by the slightest wind. And last but not least the shy, secretive Cyclamen, so tender and pretty always welcome on the windowsill.
