Watery Wednesday ~ 14 Sea and Silver

The Southern Ocean smashing against the heel of the
York Peninsula, South Australia.

Do enlarge both if you can spare the time!

For a complete change of scene, a trickle of molten
silver gleaming in the sun in a ditch on our farm.

  5. I like the ocean photo very much - but also (and often somewhat more so) the peace and tranquility that is evoked in the second shot. Thanks for naming my little wildflower the other day - yes, it was a Geranium :)

  9. The molten silver looks great, might bring the miners out to find more! But alas all that glitters is not..... silver.
    The sea also looks great.

  18. A great shot of the ocean waves! RYC: I love seaweeds, and back home in the Phils, we eat fresh seaweed salad. However, that day, there were so much of them uprooted from their habitat and floating in the ocean. It was an ugly sight to me.

  26. Arija,
The power of nature is reflected in the waves beating the rocks of York Peninsula. The hard rock will one day crumble against the relentless beating of water.
