SkyWatch ~ Western Sky at Sunrise

The rising sun calls pasel hues into the western sky

*
pours gold upon the hill top trees
*

*
and for good measure, paints a gentle rainbow on the almost
cloudless sky.
*

*
I was going to pick up the Prof who was taking his car in for
service, the morning was cold which gave me a quick photo
opportunity while my car warmed up. On the way I saw six
different rainbows but could not stop since there was a) no
where to pull off the road and b) too much traffic.
*
To all of you who missed out on comments from me over the
last 10 days, I tried my best but was lucky if blogger managed
to upload one in four of them. Either I could not access the
comments page or, when I coud write on it, just would not load.
All in all a most frustrating experience since our internet works
at a snail's pace anyway. I also had comments which refuses to
load on my posts. I have not been very happy at all.
*
All photos enlarge, I recommend it for the middle one especially.
*
Thanks to the industry and patience of our SkyWatcg Team, we
can all join in and enjoy this popular meme.

  9. I love the golden light on the trees. That's one of my favorite parts of autumn. That seems to be the time of year here when we get that kind of light. The rainbow was great too.

  11. These golden colors remind me of the shots I took last Fall here. You captured the delight to everyone's eyes!

I understand about the frustration of not being able to post a comment. Sometimes blogger is the problem.

  13. SIX rainbows! Wow, we almost never see any here in Israel, six would blow my mind... Beautiful shots too.

I see from your post that you have a poor internet connection, that would explain why you were unable to read the text on my blog. That stripey pattern is just the background, a plain pale beige normally covers it up a moment later and is the actual plain background to the text. Much easier to read than stripes would be, but it is the last piece of the template to appear. Sorry you had trouble with it.

I recommend WordPress. You can get a free account at WordPress.com. Of course, you would have to set up a whole new site, but fewer frustrations.

I wanted to let you know too, that I am much slower at my second blog than my first, though it also has hundreds of images. I have been caring for way too much these days, yet oh so blessed. 33. Dear Arija thank you for the kind messages. I read your trouble with google and I can imagine how frustrating this is. Your morning pictures are wonderful such subtle colouring, the golden sun coming up to warm everything. I have enlarged the photos, the colours are like a baby,s breath... hope all is fine again with blogging.
