SkyWatch ~ A So-So Sunset

The only opportunity this week to capture a little hint of
colour in the sky, driving back along the Murray Valley,
looking back at the foothills of the Mt.Lofty Ranges.

*
The sky showed some promise so I pulled over and hoped...
*

*
plenty of clouds with the sun peeping through
*

*
no trumpets blaring, no bells and whistles, no heart stopping
rush of awe at the sheer magnificence, just a gentle fizzing out,
leaving the vastness of the sky just a vastness without
adornments.

  4. Arija---LOL!!!
Trust me, the shock of me in the PJs is good for NO ONE. (not even me...I have hit *that age*)
And my neighbors go to work early, so usually it is some poor unsuspecting farmer that gets the eyeful for the day!!! hahaha!!!
Sorry it was just a sunrise... ;D

  12. I understand the feeling of wanting a stunning sunset capture, but, it was the same in my little corner of the world this week also. We do the best we can with what we find. However, I think your sunset captures are quite lovely, I like the golden glow.

  25. Lovely, soft colors. A sunset doesn't have to sock you in the eye to be gorgeous, especially the way you have captured this one!
