SkyWatch - Sunrise Overload !

Third and final instalment of the sunrise I have posted over
a few weeks. I promise this is the last one.

They look better enlarged.

Somehow these delicious colours remind me of Turner's paintings.

although the mixture of tints is just something a human
cannot possibly achieve.

The colours muted into shades of magenta/purple

That little cloud was still there, getting whiter by the second

the sun was only thinking of getting up, but the first bird was
already on it's way.

To the south, the colours were fading and I finally gave up
and went back to bed.

Keep posting those skies, we all enjoy them.

  2. With skies as beautiful, as colorful, as dramatic as these have been, you can continue to show them every week! They are awesome and your photos are superb!! Thank you, Arija, for your kind words and thoughts! They are so appreciated as always. I will write you more this weekend.

  5. Oh so beautiful, Arija. I was out in the garden with the three cats this morning, and captured the most beautiful pinks and mauves for my skywatch photos tomorrow. Thanks for the tips and encouragements with my pottery. I love this craft! (((Hugs))) Jo

  6. Those first two shots especially look like paintings. And now I understand about you catching sunrise, you then return to bed. ;)

  7. It is the sort of sunrise that if I saw a painting I would sniff and say 'exaggerated'. Which is so unfair of me, because I know the incredible displays that the sky can put on.

  26. I can see why you thought of Turner with these skies.

As I as sent to Perth by work I think I am morally obliged to get the most out of it!! And it surprising what you can do in the ten minutes before work and lunch times!
