TODAY'S FLOWERS - Jonquils

Flowers raising their heads above all the weeds
in my little front garden

their pretty faces enhancing the putti
supporting the bird bath

softly smiling no matter the cold, rain or wind

be grateful for what you have
lest you are left with nothing at all.

I like that little saying at the end!!
This morning I was grumbling to my daughter while we spoke over the phone about this miserableness rain we have had and continue to have, and she said "Mom" we could be having wildfires, tornadoes, or snow just be grateful it's just rain!! : )

  8. Lovely - and so much more advanced than ours. We have a couple of flower spikes but no blooms yet. And how right you are on the gratitude front... Thank you for the post and the reminder.
