TODAY'S FLOWERS - The Wonder of the First Tulips


A couple of weeks ago I promised you tulips
well, here are a few of the first to come out
a heap of bi-colour tulips


enough to set the garden on fire, tulips with teeth???


these have a perfect cup shape


and a little floral background as well


If I can make it, the sequel will follow next Sunday.

    In answer to your question about my touch-me-nots : no they are not poisonous. The name refers to the explosive dehiscence of the seed capsules. The mature capsules burst, sending seeds up to several meters away.
