SkyWatch - Sydney Skies

Whoever that baby dragon was
hopping across the sky
at the back of my son's garden
he did not leave a calling card

skies on holiday should always be this blue
with a passing cloud or two

sorry, the best pic would not transfer from iPhoto to Photoshop
if anyone knows how to cure this problem,
I would be eternally grateful.

  5. Very pretty indeed. And surprisingly blue. I don't think I have ever been to Sydney without it raining. (Which makes me jealous.)

    1. Might be an idea to check the weather report next time Sue and plan around that. Sydney is very beautiful with blue skies.

  6. Sorry Arija, I don't have photoshop so can't help. It's a lovely photo. Thanks for visiting, those are crepe myrtle trees that you asked about. I have identified them properly now. Have a great weekend :)

    1. They looked like crepe myrtle, what else would flower as if it were a blossom tree in summer.
      Thanks Denise.

    1. Easy to like, I'd like to keep one as a pet, trouble is, they tend to grow rather quickly.

  8. I didn't know dragons typically left calling cards. These are superb shots.

    1. Grown up ones do but generally baby ones don't have a pocket to keep them in.

  11. Gorgeous blue skies! Too bad they aren't always like that when you are on holiday.

Yes, the Sandhill Cranes were in our yard. They've been in the front yard several times this last month, but that's the only time they actually walked around the house through the back yard. They didn't stay long--guess the good grasshoppers were all out front.

    1. Elaine, you'll have to encourage more grasshoppers in your back yard too, they'd probably get nice and fat on your flowers.

  16. I saw a Moose one time and it really was so real looking softly moving along in the fold of a cloud, just as your little dragon and then before you know it, they are gone... Hugs to you~
