I don't like doing one for two's but this time there is
no help for it, the garden calls, the weeds are fast
approaching my knees, need to top up my bulb pots,
plant Pansies for the winter and a replacement for
one of my Roses before it rains...
Wetlands at Yeppoon, Queensland, Australia
Ibis and various Egrets abound
Now, with the Ibis, I fly into the garden!
I enjoy watching the birds through your shots. Thanks for sharing.

ReplyDeleteBeautiful! lovely.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos of the birds. Bring me so close to nature. I am more to the city. Dont get much chance to take photos of birds, etc (I dont have such patience either...lol).
ReplyDeleteLove your bird photos. Truly amazing to see them up close.
ReplyDeleteYou are so funny, I LOL so loud aboutt your cow pat comment. My grandpa was worst, in his misinformed knowledge, he told us that the Cow was the Hindu God, and the Hindus dry the cow pats and sprinkle them into their soup like we do with pepper. Grandpa is long gone to the clouds, we ahve no way to verify his "true story." But as adults, we his grand children still LOL when we think of it.
ReplyDeleteI was living in a university in Singapore. There were a lot of egrets. I miss them here, but my room in school is known as Egret room. Isn't it funny?
P/s your Autumn colours are wonderful.
Beautiful, impressive birds!
ReplyDeleteA nice series of pictures for sure.. good luck with the gardening chores... or are these called 'labours of love? :O)
