I almost shattered my side mirror blazing away
never making it to the vantage point ...

Oh what beautiful photos. I tried to capture a stunning sunrise behind our moving car (speeding along the Freeway to the airport on Tuesday) but even though I took dozens, I failed miserably. Without the flash, all was a blur, with the flash, I caught the closed window,. I am proud of you. Well done

The richest families in the kingdoms used this tax to set themselves apart from the merely rich. They would commission a country home or a manor house whose architecture would make the maximum possible use of windows. In extreme cases they would have windows built over structural walls. It was an exercise in ostentation, spurred by the window tax.[citation needed]
The tax was not repealed until 1851,[5] when it was replaced by House Duty.

Sunsets and sunrises happen surprisingly fast. I found that out once to often. Interesting shots though through the car window.

Not that you are old but your wisdom is ancient and you are my Live Oak, quercus virginianus, magnificnet, spreading and evergreen, does not shed its foliage and with branches constantly reaching out and enveloping.
