SkyWatch ~ 42 Three Minutes of a Sunrise

Please enlarge, they are well worth it.

4:43am, this is already some way into the sunrise,
I am only giving you the last three minutes of this
fabulous sky show.

4:43am the sky was changing so quickly I was shooting
a dozen shots a minute

4:44am and the difference is remarkable, these three
minutes held enough beauty to fill a lifetime, life was
on hold, the splendour was all around me as

4:45am I stood in awe, my eyes everywhere and my
shutter clicking away as though demented.

4:45am when I thought it could not get any better,
of course it did!

4:46am, it filled my heart and soul with overwhelming
colour, at last my camera hand sank and I just stood
there drinking my fill of this amazing morning gift.

Should anyone request it, I could post more of this
glory next week.

Rub your eyes, click on the Logo and enjoy other skies.

To Klaus and the SkyWatch Team, I wish all success with
Mr.Linly!, and a big thank you for persevering.

  25. God knows where you live because God gives you beautiful skies! And to think we have to endure a hurricane before we can have some semblance of this magnificent show.

    ReplyDelete
  26. We have to change the layout of your blog to enable you to post larger than large photographs a s a default, just like mine.

  27. Arija, it looks like your sky is on fire! I'm quite worried for you that you might have been barbecued watching this! But very pleased that you did. I sometimes think of you if I wake up at sunrise and spend a few minutes watching the show. But our show is never anything like this! have a great weekend.

  28. Wow! A great series of photos. That was well worth getting up early for. Thanks for sharing.

  29. Do you see my blog? The photos are huge to begin with. You many not want all of them to be so huge, maybe just the first one and then you have the option of making the others display with the default size. When i download my photos to my blog. I download them as Medium size then I change the dimension from 320 to 640. I am able to do this because I enlarge my blog layout up to 900. I believe yours is only arounf 600. Of course only if you want to do it. I am satisfied with enlarging your photos as I view them, it's just that they are so magnificent that I think a large display will give them more grandeur.

You are right about my friend. Some of us choose the positive way. I think the chemicals in our bodies help us with our direction too. I wish I could sit down with you. I will just listen for hours.

  61. But I do know that when I paint I am not ruled by logic and reason, that it is my abstract concept and raw emotions that I interpret and convert to lines and colors. The only time I would combine logic, reason and facts into an aesthetic form is probably through architecture or even scaled technical illustrations. Impressionistic art is not a product of reasoninf, scientific projects and thesis are.
