Oh how this reminds me of the masses of violets I have in the Spring, the purples, and pale blues, the bicolors....I love them all! I think your words summed it up far better than mine! Lovely....most lovely.
Lovely text and images. Violets are not loud or showy, they quietly go about their work of transforming a field, a lawn, a median into something softer and gentler. Nicely captured.
I love the little violets a blooming at your feet. How delicate they are spread into a forest carpet to entice one to wander off the trail. A wonderful sign of spring. Thanks for sharing these Arija as I haven't seen violets in a very long time.
It's so nice to come to your blog and find violets here on the other side of the globe! Have a nice week, Arija! I once attended a Reiki class and I'll try to send Reiki to Anna.
I enjoyed this post about the violet. I have been trying to get rid of them here as they were growing wild and are extremely invasive. Just about got them gone except for some growing in and around a large rose of sharon bush. It is a never ending job. They are also beautiful if I could keep them in one place.
Yes, I am reminded of long lost loves. May they rest in peace. Your violet is beautiful and so are you. Thank you dearest faithful, loyal, patient, kind, loving Arija.
I love violets and their fragrance. This lovely flower is one of the first sign of spring in my country but it is autumn now. I love your photos especially the first one.
I absolutely love violets,.. here we are facing a long winter and your photo of the violet gives me hope that our spring will come next April,... thanks!
The violet is such an exquisite little flower, and I enjoyed your lovely poem and beautiful photograph.

Funny little flower. If I try and grow it somewhere it often reacts negatively but where a couple of seeds fall it will turn into a beautiful carpet.
