I love the middle photo!! You were really lucky to catch him just as he was shaking!! I followed the link for the peony dyeing, and that looks so interesting. I have never thought of using the petals that way. I just cut all the spent blossoms off my peonies this evening. But I have the house full of the bits that were left!
Oh, that first picture, a mallard splashing in Monet surroundings! :-)
Yesterday, after working in a dusty field, I sure would have enjoyed jumping into a pond. Today, rain is drumming against every hard surface it can find.
They do look as though they are having a swimmingly delightful time. Arija, June is always my favorite month, but this June it has been in the 90's with high humidity. That water looks very refreshing, and I think I should like to have joined them~
Those little guys can really make quite a splash, can't they! And the ones paddling through the water really seem to be moving quite fast; love the wake they leave behind! Thanks for stopping by my WW! Enjoy the day.
I too enjoy watching ducks while playing in the water, making circles in the water…I always find myself relaxing and smiled after that just like I am feeling now while looking at these beautiful photos that you took.
Hello Arija, I love you and I hope you are mending well! Cute ducks.
A swimming duck, a bathing duck, a little happy, snappy duck, a smiling duck, Can this be? Can ducks smile back at me? ~Kathie (a happy poem for Arija to make her smile today!)
Life is good if you're those guys--and very sweet if you get to see the pictures. Thanks for a dose of the sweet life!
