Exquisite flowers and beautiful colors -- always delightful, but particularly when the weather is cold and gray! Lovely captures for the day! Hope your weekend is going well, Arija!!
I've never planted Primula. And yours make me question why I haven't. I don't think they'd grow at altitude but I bet they would in Denver. You chose some vivid colors, Arija.
If you take a close look at these flowers you can see (I think) that the "reproductive bits" in them are not always in the same order. In some the male is to the front and in the others it’s the female. The female to the front is the one that looks like it has got the head of a pin in the middle of the flower! Sorry, once a biology teacher always a biology teacher!
oh my goodness! such great color!
ReplyDeleteThese are sure to brighten any day.

ReplyDeleteGorgeous flowers. I have one that has held on from the winter. I just love it. The blossoms are pure delight.
ReplyDeleteLovely colours, especially the yellow one.
ReplyDeleteNot much in the way of flowers here, but luckily no dreary days either! Very nice photos, I love their color.
