Exquisite blossoms and superb captures, Arija!! My blog problems have finally defeated me and I'm giving up, but I will continue to visit and comment! Hope you have a great weekend,
A lovely thing - thank you. I do an almost daily voyage of discovery through the garden, seeing what is coming up, what is blooming, what is fading and it is a daily treat. And some days I do it several times.
Oh I love this lily Arija. I know there's a deeper meaning (and an analogy to life) to 'enjoy your flowers today, who knows what they will be tomorrow' but I have to say that it reminds me of when we used to garden in Oregon..the lilies and daffodils and peonies would come out and be beautiful for a short while and then too often the rains would knock them down. Fleeting joys -- but joys nevertheless.

ReplyDeleteWish I could smell it too Arija.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful lily, the color is gorgeous. Wishing you a happy weekend, is it almost over there?
ReplyDeletereally lovely!
ReplyDeleteThe Vallota lily we don't know that here, sounds rather exotic, but it is a real beauty.
ReplyDeleteMore beautiful flowers, even if only one stem. You are blessed.
ReplyDeleteDearest Arija,
ReplyDeleteso good to see that your Vallota Lily made it through the rain, coming through with some extra sparkle!
And so true, one needs to live and enjoy the moment, lest it may not be here anymore tomorrow.
Hugs,
Merisi
But those two blooms are gorgeous!

ReplyDeleteWhat a deep rich colour Arija .... the beauty of flowers is like that ... very fleeting!
