What lovely photos...they fill my eyes to the brim! Say, have you ever thought of becoming a part of Guest Heart Thursday? The first photo of this selection has a heart in it! I think it is so beautiful. My sister is the host of GHT, and I know she would adore your photography.
That orchid dripping rain is spectacular - wish I could smell it! A lovely, colorful wreath. Hugs to you, Arija. (PS you asked about the photo effects I used on my recent post. I'm editing with Snapseed nowadays - it's fun and easy.)
Strange how rain adds to the beauty of flowers in photographs but in the reality of my garden it simply ruins them. There's a poem in there somewhere but I haven't worked it out yet!
Beautiful flowers in the wreath, and very nice that you were able to capture its beauty for your memories. I really love the shot of the raindrops on the orchids!
The flower wreath is lovely, and such sweet remembrance attached. I dried some after my momma's passing in 1993 and still have one single flower. The start image, seems to be weeping, yet weeping tears of joy...rain the life giver~ Hugs
Oh Arija, it seems like the orchid is shedding tears. Oh but what a lovely idea to take pictures of the flowers from the beautiful memorial wreath. Now you have the pictures as a permanent reminder of how much his friends also miss him.
Beauty and sadness, always a tender balance dear Arija, I am so sorry for your loss and happy you have kind people in your life to support you in your grief and happy memories too.
Thank you for sharing the love up-close with I Heart Macro:-)
I do hope you will participate in this year's 5th Annual Gratitude (word) Quilt this year. Instructions are at the top of my blog.
Arija zuletzt bleibt nur die Erinnerung an schöne Stunden und das Glück, das Du erleben durftest. Der Schmerz vergeht mit der Zeit, aber die Leere im Herzen bleibt. Love your beautiful flowers, take care, Gisela.
I am so sorry Arija about your loss. October and November are sad months. My husband died on 9th November, my father on 2nd of this month. We shall never forget them. I wish you more of those beautiful flowers to comfort you. Lots of strength and love from the people around you. Wil
Arjia, I had no idea the professor had passed! I am so sorry! I wish I could be there to hug you and have a cup of tea and walk! Sending love and prayers from AZ.
