The Southern Ocean smashing against the heel of the
York Peninsula, South Australia.
Do enlarge both if you can spare the time!
For a complete change of scene, a trickle of molten
silver gleaming in the sun in a ditch on our farm.

Love the ocean waves. Hope that little puddle means you've gotten a little rain.
ReplyDeleteArija my dear friend.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful water and I love the foam on the rocks.
Love Renee xoxo
That's a LOVELY combination of the great and the small...
ReplyDeleteI just love your first capture, nothing can ever beat the sea for me! :)
ReplyDeleteI like the ocean photo very much - but also (and often somewhat more so) the peace and tranquility that is evoked in the second shot. Thanks for naming my little wildflower the other day - yes, it was a Geranium :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful as always and I must wonder again, you travel all the time? Surely these are not just in your backyard. if you say yes, I am flying down there!
ReplyDeleteSuch vibrant colors in that first shot! And the rock in the foreground looks like a walrus sleeping.
ReplyDeleteThe bottom photo looks as if someone spilled mercury on the ground!
ReplyDeleteThe molten silver looks great, might bring the miners out to find more! But alas all that glitters is not..... silver.
ReplyDeleteThe sea also looks great.
Love the shot of the ocean. I never get tired of seeing pictures like this.
ReplyDeleteCool silver. I've never seen anything like it.
Happy WW.

World, what a lovely neighbour the sea is!
ReplyDeleteA great shot of the ocean waves! RYC: I love seaweeds, and back home in the Phils, we eat fresh seaweed salad. However, that day, there were so much of them uprooted from their habitat and floating in the ocean. It was an ugly sight to me.
ReplyDeleteWhat a difference! Yet both watery :)
ReplyDeleteI can almost hear the Southern Oceans waves :-) Lovely.
ReplyDeleteYes your image is quite lovely enlarges, the swirling blues!

Beautiful photos!
ReplyDeleteArija,
ReplyDeleteThe power of nature is reflected in the waves beating the rocks of York Peninsula. The hard rock will one day crumble against the relentless beating of water.
The crashing waves are beautiful!
ReplyDeleteOh, I love the 'molten silver'! On clicking on the photo to enlarge, you could get lost in the almost abstract areas - amazing!
ReplyDeleteI can just hear the water crashing on that first pic, outstanding image.
