  1. Didn't know how else to tell you that I loved your post on my blog about the rainwater. Wow...huge water holding tanks. Some folks around here have 1000 gallon tanks for storage of water from a low yielding well, but yours far outweighs that. With the weather patterns the way they are we have not had the rains we normally have, however, I sometimes feel our rain barrels are inadequate as a big rain (such as we just had from tropical storm Fay) fills them quickly and the rest is simply wasted. As my gardens and my need for watering increases I'm working on ways to capture more of the rain. The condensation idea worked because we had not had rain for over 3 weeks and my rain barells were empty. I love that you have been able to live on rainwater. I think your idea is a good one even for the cities around here. Of course, I also think solar power should be used more often and our dependence on oil must be ended...but I'm not seeing that happend anytime soon. Anyway, sorry for the long post..just wanted to let you know how much I appreciate your posts.
