These are all taken from a very fast moving car.
The sun was in a playful mood
as we drove home today
she played at hide-and-seek with us
and just refused to stay
so in among the banking clouds
she hid herself away.
It is good to be back from the wilds and blogging
again. Only once did I have internet access, and
the signal was too weak to use.
Thank you Klaus and SkyWatch team for still
providing this great fun meme.

That last shot is so nice,.. I can see why pilots have to fight the temptation to fly up through the "blue hole!"

ReplyDeleteSo good to have you back! Beautiful skies and I agree, the sun does indeed look as though she is playing hide and seek in the clouds. Lovely colors, lovely shots and lovely words! Thanks, Arija, as always!

ReplyDeleteHi Arija,
ReplyDeleteBeautiful shots of the sun. I love how it peeks out at you and gradually retreats. This is lovely.
The first shot reminds me of the eye of a friendly cyclops...peering out at your from his place behind the cloouds! Welcome back!
ReplyDeleteFor being in a moving car you captured these shots well. Lovely too.
ReplyDelete"New" sky, and very dramatic views -- greath photos!

ReplyDeleteThe sun is like winking from behind the cloudtop, or it lifts its hat and waves it around... Nice series of pictures, with a poetic touch of your words.
