ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful blossoms on the Christmas cactus!!
ReplyDeleteMy Christmas cactus is just coming into bud Arija. I am afraid to say that I have really neglected it this year - often forgetting to water it for weeks - but it has really come up well with masses of buds, as though it thrives on jeglext.
ReplyDeleteThat lovely cake on the pretty cloth - altogether a work of art. Enjoy eating it.
Beautiful pie! Beautiful cactus blooms and roses too.
ReplyDeleteYour Christmas cactus is stunning! And your cake looks delicious! Would have been nice to my coffee right now! :)
ReplyDeleteI love these. I used to have one, but moving 4 times in 3 years kinda did me in!
ReplyDeletelovely cactus!! mine is blooming too...but it don't have that wonderful colour as yours
ReplyDeleteThey certainly are beautiful and full. The closeup is gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely little vignette on the table! The top of the pie is so intricate. Your granddaughter did a wonderful job. I bet is tasted heavenly.
Wow, that is gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteHere's my share for Today's Flower.
The flowering Christmas cactus is stunning. Although I have a black thumb I enjoy the ones that friends have.
ReplyDeleteThat cake your grandaughter baked in a work of art, as the table setting. Hope no possums mess it up. They wouldn't leave hungry. ;-)
Your Christmas cactus is beautiful and doing much better than mine is. But mine does have buds, I'll give it that. LOL
ReplyDeleteMine are blooming too, so lovely to see.
ReplyDeleteMay peace fill your heart this 2nd Advent Sunday Arija.
ReplyDeleteA beautiful Christmas cactus my friend, as are the flowers in your other photo. A beautifully composed shot with the candle, the flowers and your granddaughter's baking. Her cake is the prettiest one I have ever seen.
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous Christmas cactus. Thanks for sharing such beauty...very festive for the holidays.
ReplyDeleteI've never seen such large blooms on a Christmas cactus before! You have the magic touch, Arija. And that cake is truly too beautiful to eat.
ReplyDeleteOh my GOODNESS! You caught another possum, and what awful things it left behind for you. I must say, it's much cuter than the ugly white faced ones we have here in America. I'm glad it's gone, but just how are they getting in?!
Those blossoms are beautiful. Wish I could grow some.
ReplyDeleteYour Christmas Cactus is gorgeous. So much different from mine. your flowers are more rounded. What a nice touch, and what a beautiful cake. Your Granddaughter has wonderful talent.
ReplyDeleteB.
Nice! Our Christmas Cactus blooms reliably each spring (about Easter time), but sometimes we luck out in December. No buds yet, though, so I'll just enjoy yours.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful flower, I saw in a house near my school, I almost knocked on the door if I can take a photo. Now I don't have too.
ReplyDeleteWonderful cactus flowers.
ReplyDeleteGreat shots. Love the cake too.
Did you bake this "Kunstwerk"?
LG Gisela
