Turning into lobsters on a Sydney beach,
then feasting on them in a restaurant
and, for good measure, a lovely little old lady who, with her
arthritic hands, still makes these intricate swans from tiny
pieces of precisely folded paper.

Wow, I'm amazed at those swans. I like the 2 lobsters!! Very appropriate!
ReplyDeleteAaaaw! This is great. Oh goodness, those sun worshipers have it going for them! I prefer the edible lobsters and that lady with the swans is incredible!
ReplyDeleteAre those girls topless? What about the children if they walk by?
ReplyDeleteBeautiful paper swans! Amazing..
Doan
ReplyDeletewhat about the children you ask?
Well, what about them? Are girl boobs worse than dangling man boobs with gross bellies as well?
Children don't make a big deal of things like that unless adults instil prudish ideas into them.
After all, God gave us all bodies.
Very neat viewing your world. Lobster, my favorite, and yours looks delectable. Those paper swans are awesome~
ReplyDeleteThe swans are amazing! And I love your response to "what about the children"! Wonderful look at your world, Arija! Hope your week goes well!

Strange how people to react to things we take for granted. Topless sunbathing is allowed on beaches everywhere in Australia.
ReplyDeleteSydney - City and Suburbs
Ohhhh, how I would love one of those incredible origami swans!
ReplyDeleteI would also love to have a body like those gals....
Those swans are incredible. Now I'm thinking about lobsters. I haven't had a lobster in ages.
ReplyDeleteArija: Neat look at the people from your world.
ReplyDeleteYou would be arrested for topless sunbathing in my world. :)
ReplyDeleteI too liked your response to what about the children.
Oh, Arija, you are an artist all around! Those paper swans are so intricate. Love your analogy of the sun bathing beauties and lobster.
ReplyDeleteP.S. Love your comment about the pigs.
Wow! The last shot... amazing talent.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful. Those intricate swans are very nice.
ReplyDeletePlus they go topless in Sydney.
ReplyDeleteLove the lady's paper swans.
Love the folded swan! How neat!
ReplyDeleteHow does the little old lady do it? Very artistic, Arija. I never realised it is still warm in Sydney (We are entering summer - Northern Hemisphere - so are you entering winter? ) Have a wonderful day.
ReplyDeleteSilly people who think lobsters are nice, when they are older, they get skin cancer. One of my colleagues has a cancerous mole at her chin. She has it removed and has a plaster on. She says she has 660 students and 40 staff asking her if she fell down.
ReplyDeleteLovely inviting photos! The swans are really very beautiful, and how clever of this lady to make them with her arthritic hand.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your visit. My daughter will leave for Australia next week. I'll miss her and the family.
Bhe, che dire ?
ReplyDeleteCredo che queste immagini dicano il sentimento di serenità che alleggia...
Happy day.
Sunscreen(!!!), yummy and WOW!
ReplyDeleteA great clever post, but it's the comments that are such fun.
What a varied world! And all just down the road!
ReplyDeleteGreat post!
ReplyDeleteThe lobsters look yummy. The people lobsters might be sorry once they are home. The woman is amazing at her craft. :-)
ReplyDeleteI really fear for those laying in the sun Arija. It does do bad things to your skin.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful talent that lady has. Those swans are unique.
B.
The swans are incredible! Thank you for your kind words of sympathy..
ReplyDeletelooka sa you have a nice time in Sydney.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the great comment in my entry. Luckily the board walk was not slippery. But as you mentioned, I am greatful I did not meet anyone on it.
Isn't that amazing. The lady who makes the swans. That is amazing.
ReplyDeleteI have seen Japanese people make some very detailed things from folded sheets of paper. I don't remember swans.
I looked the the beach babes. Twice.
Here where I live, the local police would be thrilled for a chance to place them under arrest. The charge would be indecent exposure but nobody would believe it.
Living is so difficult these days.
The cost of breathing is so high.
When I think how it used to be
I think I'm gonna cry.

Gorgeous, my friend. The sunbathing looks like a relaxing way to be transformed. Those paper swans are stunning.
ReplyDeleteYour world is amazing.
ReplyDelete(love your response to the topless girls)
ReplyDeleteSuch a fun post Arija, the swans are lovely.
ReplyDeleteSmiles
I like the 2 lobsters!, and the swan is simply amazing.
ReplyDeleteMight tasty, them lobstahs.
ReplyDeleteAs for topless bathers, geez, folks need to get out more. I recall my year in Germany when nude hikers were not uncommon. Amerikans are weird folks: no nudity on TV, but you can watch bloody gore by the hour.
