SkyWatch ~ Yet Another Sunrise


Oh dear, I seem to have a new sunrise every week. You must
be getting sick to death of them . . . but what can I do when
the rising sun puts on a show for me??

Homing in to the starting show . .


and panning out to as much of the sky as I could fit in,


turning towards the west to capture the first glow on the hill


and back to the sun painting the sky with a broad brush
as, with chattering teeth, I make a beeline back to my nice
warm bed where I fortuitously had turned my 'lecky blanky
on three. Ah, bliss as I snuggle into my toasty warm bed.

    We never get sunrises like that Arija - you can put on as many as you like - I love them.

    What a fabulous skyshow. We don’t see skies like this on our property because he are in a hollow up against a huge hill. BUT, we are off to the beach an about 3 weeks so I will get to see them then. Thanks for the kind words on my blog...Buddy just sent me some new fabulous photos from his hike - one of him that looks GREAT - so I added them to the post. Thought you might like to know. Genie

    It's a different sky every week -- and I really really do love that you get such beautiful views when you turn around as well! Love that you get up early to catch these and love knowing that you jump back into bed after.
