Last night I took a tumble, smack on my face on a rough,
unfinished path, my teeth landing on my camera and the
rest of the face on the stones, You will be happy to know
that my camera came away unscathed - unlike yours truly.
The bruises are starting to really come into their own, also
on knees and my left hand. The face however definitely came
off second best and looks like it has been hit by a brick.
I seem to be sore all over and a little unsteady in the brain
box so please excuse it if I cannot get to your posts just yet.
I am feeling a strong magnetic attraction to my bed . . .
This Little Grebe is contemplating a dilemma of her own,
where to build her nest since the water level of the dam has
drowned the reeds which normally hide her brood.
A dilemma indeed!

ReplyDeleteThat is such a lovely set of pics, Arija ! The troubled water reflecting the blue sky has gorgeous colors.
ReplyDeleteArija, I am worried. A fall like that can shake up your brain. Please consider going to a doctor. Yet I'm sure a weekend of bedrest will do you good too.
ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry to learn of your fall, Arija!! So glad it wasn't any worse! Hope the soreness will go away quickly! But it is a good excuse to settle back in your garden, enjoy spring, the beauty and a good book -- and take a picture now and then! I love these and the cute little grebe! Hope you have a good weekend, with little pain!

Thank you, Aria.
Yes, "soft focus" seems so much nicer! I must remember to always say that.
Sorry about your fall-- of course it is good that your camera survived, but I hope your face clears up in a hurry!
Ken

ReplyDeleteOh dear, even it was so bad to you I got a smile because of your keeping your camera in safe. I have same experience :)
