While sitting at lunch at the Wentworth Servicemen's Club,
I looked at the Darling River and then looked straight down
an this is what I saw . . . how could I resist??
Another travel shot, me looking out to sea at Kingston. Any
place that has lots of water is home to me.
Shadows come and shadows go, where are yours, I want to know?

ReplyDeleteShadows appear from everywhere don't they?! Neat captures. Happy Easter!
ReplyDeleteA perfect shadow, Arija! May you find your shadows to be happy ones. I wish you all the light of Easter, of new life, even if you are going to face autumn.

ReplyDeleteSo fun to travel and play
ReplyDeletePlus take your shadow along the way.

Happy Easter.
that second shot is most striking...
ReplyDeleteI agree with your water comment. :) Great shadows!
ReplyDeleteSo wonderful to see..
ReplyDeleteThe top shadow looks like a giant spider! A blessed Easter to you Arija. Tsup!
ReplyDeleteOh by the way, when we were little children we were told a story that witches and warlocks do not have shadows, so we always made it a point to look for an approaching person's shadow. It was really eerie doing that at night in the tropics with all the trees and plants.
ReplyDeleteI always knew you were taller than life. See? Shadows don't lie. :)
ReplyDeleteArija....I always love your photography and these shadow shots are so interesting. I'm going to have to try some myself sometime. Hope you have a lovely Easter!
ReplyDeleteBrilliant Shadow Shots.
ReplyDeleteYour shadow shots are entrancing. And yes, water has magic.
ReplyDeleteGreat photos of shadow shot Sunday Arija Found my shot near Mannum a while ago, but Kingston is certainly a favourite place of mine also.

ReplyDeleteThose plant fronds create a striking burst of shadow!
I like that pattern of the first shot. It is like shadow beams. And I like the lines that makes up the second one. :)
ReplyDeleteGreat shots! I'm traveling, too...just spent four months in India and, now, I'm stopping over for five days in Hong Kong. Head home to San Francisco tomorrow.
