TODAY'S FLOWERS & Weekend Flowers - 'Gold Bunny'

What would the world be without roses?

Through rain, wind and storm 'Gold Bunny' blooms
and blooms, even in mid-winter

while pruning my roses, I glimpsed this golden array
high on the fence

with a trick of the light, this lower, rain drenched bloom
had magically changed colour

a trusty rose lending a spot of colour in a bare garden.

  5. Nice flowers!

I would say that central Australia is one of the few places that actually exceeds the kind of things the tourist guides say about it!

  7. Beautiful - even in midwinter to have roses :-)
For us, the frost takes away the flowers and buds last.
But I admire some, how long they persevere...
