SkyWatch - A Few Clouds Last Night

Yesterday was cooler and quite pleasant, at least possible
 to sit outside after taking these pictures.

Today has been another scorcher with tomorrow and the
weekend predicted to be much worse still and dangerous
for the very young, the elderly and people with various heart
and breathing difficulties.
My dog and I fall into the latter categories, so apart from
going for a blood test, I will be incarcerated indoors with
various cooling devices.

The few clouds we had last night at least lent some structure
to the sky

although, even zoomed in, the colour was minimal

as though the very sky was tired out with all the heat we have
been suffering from.

  4. Even though your temps are most miserable the sky still shows us beauty Arija. We have the extreme up here with bitter cold. It hasn't gotten above freezing for days. It's -13C here right now. Although the sun is out you still don't venture too far. My chickens are faring rather well, although I must gather eggs twice a day to prevent freezing. I have a heavy square container for the ducks water, and yesterday morning when I went to do chores, mama duck's breast feathers were frozen in the water tub. I gently lifted her out and she is fine, missing very few feathers. I think she must have fallen asleep and that's when the water froze. I'm doing well, and keeping as busy as I can. Looking forward to Spring when my dog and I can get out for a walk again. Take care Arija. {{HUGS}}

  6. and here the cold is relentless… if only we could bring balance to this planet again… we must try. The clouds are beautiful, even if they are tired, tinged with flame.

  12. Thinking of you today Arija. I am about to water the garden again before work, but it is always a crisp when I come home. Hope your lovely garden has not suffered too much. Take care today in the 40 degree heat.

  31. Very pretty skies. I've never lived where it gets dangerously hot like that - we have the opposite problem here, with snow in the forecast every day for the next week! And thanks for the meme suggestion - I have a good post lined up for that.
