My blossom trees still persist,
this is a double flowering almond
it started out with just the darker flowers
but year by year it had
the pale pink sports
and, as I really liked then,
I left them for this bi-colour effect
it was a grey day that accentuated the gentle blossoms
For I Heart Macro,
this morning's frost

I hope everyone has a lovely day!
A gorgeous sight, indeed!
ReplyDeleteI hope the frost did not damage the flowers and future crops.

Lovely blossoms, the color is beautiful. Wonderful frosty shot. Happy weekend to you!
ReplyDeletelovely...we had a frost here too but yours seems to be more frosty
ReplyDeletejust gorgeous blooms! and the frost looked refreshing to me, actually!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful and I do love the blossoms!! We're still having wonderful, summery weather, but I know it won't last much longer!! Autumn is creeping up on us!! Have a great weekend, Arija!!
ReplyDeleteLovely blossoms indeed!
ReplyDeleteLovely blossoms. The frost is beautiful too. Enjoy your weekend.
ReplyDeleteGlorious.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures, both the flowers and the frost.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous flowers.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful blossoms and all the more lovlier with the two shades of pink. Unfortunately our blossoms have finished down on the plains but aren't these lovely sunshiney days at treat
ReplyDeleteI love to see your colorful spring blooms while watching the fall colors here. Hope that frost didn't wipe anything out. Though your shot of it is crispy pretty.
ReplyDeleteWell, your tree is gorgeous Arija and that's a great frosty macro. Thanks for always linking with Today's Flowers, and I wish you a very happy week.
ReplyDeleteSuch pretty blossoms, and the grey sky does make them stand out beautifully!
ReplyDeleteThe 2 colors of flowers look lovely together. Everything looks so green there, the grass is really growing, I guess because it is spring. Here it is now about Fall and the grass has been dry and brown for quite a while, and the soil is like concrete. I just wish our Fall rains would start soon, maybe next week they will.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful trees! Your frost macro is very well done, and hopefully you'll be done with it. We're looking at the beginning of it here though, and have had several frosty mornings over the last few weeks, and little by little my flowers are dying out. There are more leaves on the ground than on the trees, so winter is not too far off.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful macro. We will be getting our first frost of the season before too long. Love that tree! Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteSo soft and beautiful. The two pink colors really match each other:) Thanks for leaving kind words on my blog:)
ReplyDeleteoh! bi-colored beauty
ReplyDeleteso very lovely
we have so few flowers left from our flower season
now i look at colored leaves in a similar way that i look at flowers
come winter it will be snowflakes that are my flowers....
or stars ;-) lovely spring to you!
Beautiful, glorious photos!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful blossoms, they always make me smile. Great photos.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful bi-colored tree. Perfect early spring flowers. Sorry for the frost, but it is a lovely picture.
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures, Arija!
ReplyDeleteThese are all beautiful but the frosted leaves are my favorite since I'm looking forward to frost.
