Last Thursday Arija was admitted to hospital for day surgery...unfortunately things became rather more complicated than initially anticipated and so they haven't let her out yet. When I saw her this afternoon she was smiling [a good sign] despite being captive in a room that looks out onto a less than delightful brick wall.
She asked me to let her regular readers know that while she's still on the planet, posting stories and pix is a tad challenging at present. I have my fingers crossed that she'll bounce back to her usual self soon...

ReplyDeleteDearest Mum of India
ReplyDeleteMy prayers, thoughts and heart are with you. May you heal quickly and thoroughly so you can get back to showing us the world through your lens. I hate hospitals. Why do they put sick people in such sterile facilities. If you aren't sick going in, you are on leaving. Thank you for sharing India with us, I know she is glad to be home and amongst her loved ones and treading familiar ground again. She called you "pure gold" when she visited us. Come visit in the big ole Aotearoa please, come stay at my place with India and we can do tea at Aunt Daisy's, walk the beach and Knuckles can drool all over you. I can take you to Trash Palace, op shops galore and we can eat some fish and chips. You can meet Cleo and look at our artwork inspired by India.
