SkyWatch ~ Kingston Sunrise

While I did my morning exercises with some light weights,
the sun painted the sky a glorious gold.

A horse was grazing over the fence with just enough light for
me to have a shot at him.

A quick dash inside to change lenses and off for my walk to the
sea. Overhead a Sacred Ibis turned pink in the rising sun.
It may not be quite in focus but what can you expect when
shooting with a hand held 500mm lens?

When I return from our sojourn in the Flinders Ranges, there will be
Kingston sunsets over the sea.

  3. These photographs are treasues. The first one is really breathtaking but then the horse made me feel serene and calm and the third one copacetic. There you go. I had a range of emotions just by looking at your photos. Have a very good day my beautiful, most loving friend. This morning I remember how my sister was not feeling well last year in the month of April...

  21. Hi, Arija! What a glorious morning with the promise of the new day. Nice capture of the flying ibis. You did hold the camera steady in spite of 500 mm zoom!

It’s me who have to say sorry for not visiting for a while. Things have been hectic with the bereaved mother since my father-in-law’s funeral and other thing but I’m emotionally all right. So sorry to hear about your loss of beloved sister. I pray for her happiness in another world and I believe she’s always with you watching over, protecting, and guiding. I also pray things will be all right with your husband.

You have kept posting no matter what happens, that’s admirable. Your posts are filled with positive message and fascinating, uplifting photos.

    Take care of yourself, arija.
