I tried to catch the golden lining to the clouds but it was too
bright . . .
so I caught the fluffy clouds against the blue
and some bare trees
but could not resist zooming in to the main event.
My heart goes out to all the folks in Colorado who have lost their homes,
I have been in the same boat. I hope with all my heart that you get a good thunderstorm to douse the fires.
God bless you all.
A beautiful sunset symphony, Arija!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous, colorful skies, beautiful clouds and superb captures as always, Arija! They do encourage one to continue looking up -- and hopefully with camera in hand!! Hope you have a wonderful weekend!

thank you for your thoughts for those in colorado. i know you've faced your years of drought and fires there.
ReplyDeleteExcellent shots of that gorgeous sunset! Thank you for thoughts - it must have been awful losing everything in a wildfire. The good news is that despite all the destruction, it appears that nobody's been injured or killed. And I guess the construction industry will be picking up in Colorado Springs!
ReplyDeleteYou captured the beauty of the clouds do well.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful cloud shots. I am sorry to hear about the folk in Colorado and pray that the fires are soon doused. Thanks for the corrections on my post today. I did that post late at night when I was exhausted and should have paid more attention. I should have remembered "Border Collie" but genuinely didn't know what the "Old English Sheepdog" was! I made the changes on the post and thanked you for your input! How are you, my friend? Look forward to hearing from you. Blessings and love. Jo

ReplyDeleteFive minutes ago I was reading about Colorado Springs - we were there about five years ago - such a lovely place, surrounded as it was by woodland. Now, sadly, they are suffering greatly. Like you I feel for them.

ReplyDeleteYou've caught the golden lining Arija .... love that last capture.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful skies. On behalf of my Colorado kids (and as someone who just came from spending time Colorado) I think you for your concern for that beautiful State.
ReplyDeleteWith a country such as ours which is so bushfire prone, we can relate to the devastation in Colorado. I can scarcely imagine your personal experience Arija.
ReplyDeleteI hope you have an enjoyable weekend. I'm heading to McLaren Vale - not as pretty in Winter as Autumn, but always enjoyable.
Hi there - great sky - I really like the clouds.
ReplyDeleteI can’t imagine (and have no desire to find out!) what it must be like to deal with bush fires.
Hope all is well.
