A beautiful display of gleaming gold as the weeds thrive and flower
in my garden.
Almond blossom have been out since mid-winter
as have masses of Jonquils.
It is such a happy time when there is enough rain to make the flowers grow.

My father always told me that if a plant thrives it is a weed. And certainly the weeds seem to do much better than the plants I cosset in my garden.

absolutely ..we are having the driest August for many years here, so our garden is very lack lustre at the moment.
