Wild Bird Wednesday - Yellow-rumped Thornbill

A cute and very small birdie
so hard to capture

A still moment in one of my rose bushes

but when it moves
it moves like lightning

and leaves barely a blur . . .

  1. Such a pretty bird. We have small, fast birds here but I've never successfully photographed one.

  9. A smart little bird. Well done on getting some good shots; I know how difficult it can be to photograph small, active birds.

  20. Lovely! Those little ones are always hard to get. I just start to focus and they move. You got some great shots of it before it moved.
