An emergency session with the dentist on Friday
made me a present as solace for loosing a tooth
of this cascade of Callistemons
overhanging the steps as I left to rescue
my waiting dog in the car
walking under this gleaming red canopy
was a delight indeed.

ReplyDeleteAww, I'm sorry about the tooth. But the flowers sure are festive! My parents have a tree full of these blooms in front of their house. In the evenings, a thousand little birds nest in there and chirp. They sound so happy gossiping with each other. Have a beautiful week! xoxo
