Nature Notes ~ The Cycle of Life
Spring
and
Autumn
closest to each other in nature, yet furthest apart.
Both seasons of change, one glorying in the newness
of rebirth, the other baring its soul in preparation,
just transmutation never ending.....

That's just beautiful! Those two are my favorite seasons! Both seasons of change - I like that!! Hugs, Silke
ReplyDeleteOh I like this very much! I'll remember it when I'm complaining about winter.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful as always, Arija! Thank you!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy!

Such a lovely post, these are my favorite seasons.
ReplyDeleteSunny :)
What a creative lovely blog!
ReplyDeleteNever ending......
ReplyDeleteThese are beautiful--I love the seasons.
ReplyDeleteJust beautiful Arija..How I wish I had your gentle way and gift of prose. You are such a wonderful advocate for Mother Nature... Thank you for participating in Nature Notes.. I really appreciate it.. Michelle
ReplyDeleteI never thought about the similarities in fall and spring but you're right they are. I like the shots as well as the drawing. Great post.
ReplyDeleteSo thoughtfully and poetically expressed.
ReplyDeleteVery lovely tree. I love the drawing too. Very nice, I wish I could draw that well. :)
ReplyDeletelovely drawing and photo! Yes i often notice the similarities between spring and autumn, the seasons of change
ReplyDeleteLovely Arija..and the post below also!
ReplyDeleteYes, I have been hearing of your heatwave again! Last year you had a terrible one too! Just wish it would all end for you all! 43 degrees is just way way way too hot!!
Thanks for visiting My Skywatch and My World in Toowoomba also.
A lovely and thoughtful post. I spent the first 35 years of my life in a climate where summer just muddled its way into being winter and vice versa. I like having more distinct seasonal changes much better.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photo. The only reason I like autumn is that it brings us closer to spring.
ReplyDeleteI have often thought of this myself. Even though Autumn is a dying of sorts it's a necessary death if we are to have new life in spring. And, it is a spectacular way to go! All that nature does not die quietly.
ReplyDeleteThe second pic doesn't want to load for me.
ReplyDeleteBut I can imagine that they both look great.
I love both seasons. Yes, similar and yet so different.
What a wonderful drawing (the second one). Did you do that? I love the line work.
ReplyDeleteArija, did you draw that last picture there? How sweet, but the litle girl looks sad. I am trying to get my Christmas cards drawn and painted so I can get them printed and mailed!
