Hello Arija, questi fiori sono meravigliosi !
ReplyDeleteBuona domenica :-))
The Banksia looks like a cross between a pinecone and bottlebrush. I'm happily amazed you have flowers when so cold.
ReplyDeleteFar removed from my poor Eucalypt's remains used as garden seats, but a nice reminder os former glory!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely and interesting flower! I've never seen one like it! Great photo as always! Hope you have a wonderful week ahead, Arija!

ReplyDeleteMy husband is a woodworker and has a banksia pod in his collection of "exotic" woods (exotic to us not to you, LOL). So this is what the flower looks like!
ReplyDeleteI forgot it was winter there, but is it THAT cold that you have to wear gloves? Thet yellow flower is really interesting Arija, and the Parrots sure do make a mess.

ReplyDeleteHard to imagine wearing gloves right now - the delights of opposite hemispheres!
ReplyDeleteIs the Banksia related to the Red-hot poker plant?
