Ah, the warmth of summer (in Oz) allows the flowers to bloom and thrive. The sun is strong, the shadows stronger. The warm day is lovely, a day to savor (not quite up here where it is cold - yet the sight of a beautiful flower is warming to me!)
Oh how beautiful...sigh..I will think of these on my snowy slog to the feeders...thank you...makes me feel better to think I can help some of the wildlife through the winter...Michelle
beautiful shadows...I miss roses so, this time of year while it is cold here in the northern hemisphere. Thank you for bringing a bit of summer to those of us in the darker season.
Ancient as time, favourite tree: the oak, animal: the wolf, flower: Anemone hepatica, place: a forest near water.Bird: too numerous to name, camera permanently grafted to hand, lover of light, nature, the sea, mountains, deserts, all forests, musing on the essence of being, loving all things great and small, caring for this wonderful planet of ours.
I miss the variety of colours in deep winter. Lovely shots.
