My garden, or at least the few flowers that bloom,
are covered with little blue-grey butterflies
just about every one of my chrysanthemum
flowers has one or two of them
sipping nectar for all they are worth
sweet little things fluttering about the bush
like smoke

ReplyDeleteThe little butterflies' wings seem to emphasize texture, lines and ridges, rather than color. They remind me of the magical masses of oak moths we encountered camping in Monterrey,CA.
