SkyWatch - Herringbones

Was I looking for a knitting pattern?
Did I have a craving for fish for dinner??
Was this a SIGN???

No.

Just a nod from above to post it for SkyWatch!

This first caught my attention
so I homed in on it

zoomed out again

by which time the sun got out her paintbrush and
dabbed a bit of gold into the picture
for a bit of extra definition painting with gold.

  4. Just the result of high-level winds blowing across the relatively still air beneath, making ripples like when you blow across a glass of water - so the meteorologists tell us. But whatever the cause it certainly lifts the heart.

  17. I love photos with so much contrast in the sky, great light, darker clouds. These skies are great as backdrops for the silhouetted landscapes.

My Skywatch submission (image #136) is available for viewing.
