field mice are in their burrows and
the snakes he likes as a take-away
are too cold to show their faces
poor old kookaburra

ReplyDeleteArija, I would love to see a kookaburra! Just seeing this post makes me think of a song I learned in elementary school about "kookaburra sits in the old gum tree..." Now I will be singing it all day long! LOL!
