For once I caught a perfect white Rose drenched after
rain, no sunburn, no water damage, just perfection!
This buttery yellow 'Graham Thomas' loves the rain
and always holds up well.

ReplyDeleteHi Arija, thank you so much for your kind comment on "threemonkeys". Your roses are outstanding and very beautiful. Enlarging is good to see all the delights and the sparkle of the roses. Tzigane is a truly lovely rose and also ages gracefully! In the cooler climat the colour might be stronger. Very hardy and relieable in my garden, Just Joe, Bridal Bouquet, Apricot Nectar, Seduction and Buff beauty, Iceberg is wonderful too. A few weeks and spring is back, generally very short and sweet, before the summer heat!
ReplyDeleteLike Darwin's pigeons, it is amazing what rose breeders have done with a handful of genes. Thanks for sharing.

ReplyDeleteMy dearest, wise, and ever-loving Arija,
ReplyDeleteHow can I ever thank you enough for your heartfelt condolences and tender wishes. The story of your father and that beautiful, moving poem did, indeed, lend me strength and courage and hope. You are so very right, everything has a reason, and in the end, I am grateful that there was minimal suffering and a life that was lived to the fullest. I am so very blessed by your friendship. Thank you for your love when I needed it the most. I love you, too.
