ReplyDeleteI love photos of water especially when there's reflections - just beautiful
Cute ... nice shots!
ReplyDeleteLovely images.
ReplyDeleteHe is cute with his white fringe.
ReplyDeleteHiya,
ReplyDeleteHope things are getting a little easier for you.
And yes, I indeed wish to enlarge :-)
That blue water is a picture in itself.
About yesterday's flowers: have you tried using pure well water, bottled or otherwise? And of course your vases are spotlessly clean :-) of course. It does make a difference. The state of the water I mean.
JUST LOVE these!!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful moorhen shots, so atmospheric.
ReplyDeleteI hope that isn't fall leaves floating on the clouds too. Great reflections!
ReplyDeleteArija, I keep seeing the floods in your country and marvel that you are so hot and dry! I'd send you some of my snow if I could! I tried to find a coot all month but didn't see one anywhere! Used to see them all the time in AZ. Perhaps your imagination can take you away on the same cloud as the coot! I hope you find a smile today and hold it close to your heart!

ReplyDeleteSo that is what a moorhen looks like... I have never seen one..thanks Arija.....
ReplyDeleteI just told an fellow blogger, when I was in the Gold Coast, I saw an australian coot's nest in a boat, near the out board motor.
ReplyDeleteWonderful bird Arija. Sometimes I imagine I could be a large bird gliding on the wind currents for hours, and what sights I could see below..Oh to dream.
ReplyDeleteBTW I only have 25 Orchids, but I always have room for 1 more..

Hi Arija, that's a South African expression: sometimes I sits and thinks, sometimes I just sits! What beautiful shots of the coots. Thanks for your continued visits to my blog. I'm really being tested by the bad Internet service/connection here on camp. I will check out the WBW on your side bar and try to upload African birds on it next Wednesday. Be blessed my friend. (((Hugs))) Jo

ReplyDeleteSailing on a cloud! I love it!!! The next time someone calls me an old coot, I will not be offended. :)
ReplyDeleteHi Arija,
ReplyDeleteI am still here! (although last night I thought for sure I was going to be blown to the North Pole...yikes!)
I'm looking at your peaceful pond photos and so wishing I was sitting with the duck, watching the clouds roll by~~~instead I am trying to get awake to plow out the drive and see how much snow we got from that god-awful blizzard last night. Holy cow.....I don't want to see another of those.
My Blogger Dashboard has been acting quirky; a couple of friends wrote me that they have had the same problem, so I know I missed a couple of your posts that I *briefly* saw, but then some I am guessing I did not see. Bella had one that I NEVER saw till I went to leave her a reply....
Well, we had a 26 yr. anniversary, I am trying to do more art this year and also working on a tutorial for the blog plus taking an online class.
Oh, and I did knit some lace scarves which are easy on the hands (not a ring shawl yet but I bought the wool for that--bright RED!) and of course socks so I don't freeze. Nothing exciting here---too lazy to go take photos in the cold!
Hope you are doing well and are WARM; it is summer there, yes?
XXOO~~♥

ReplyDeleteGreat shots. Being from the UK it's fascinating to find that the same species of Coot that we have can be found all the way down in Australia.
