Lovely friends. Thinking of you today, Arija.
ReplyDeleteLove the birds Arija--you are so lucky to live where you get to seethe exotics in their natural habitat. A tiny bit of envy here...birdie-envy! ;D

ReplyDeleteHi Arija,

Mi piacciono molto i tuoi piccoli amici :-))
Grazie di averceli presentati.
Buona giornata.
Great sequence of shots. I love seeing the birds from different parts of the world.
ReplyDeleteFeathered, furry and even slimy, they all enrich our Worlds if we can be bothered to see them. you certainly do and I thank you for sharing with us. Have a good week.
ReplyDeleteGreat friends and the pictures. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeletelovely captures. I find it is not easy to capture flying critters, they can end up a blur!

Love the birds in your neighbourhood! I guess it really is looking like spring where you are!
ReplyDeleteYou can't beat friends like that!
ReplyDeleteYour garden friends sure brought a smile to my face. The birds look so exotic and the dappled horse is so handsome.
ReplyDeleteYour friends are beautiful and pure! Unlike most of the people, they'll never betray you!
ReplyDeleteYou have some very lovely friends!
ReplyDeleteYou have some very pretty friends Arija. So much different from ours here. I had an Appaloosa horse once. She was a great friend, BUT terrified of cows. You couldn't ride her around cows ANYWHERE.
ReplyDeleteB.
Animal friends are great. When I was under the weather and so stressed from work, I let Daisy lie down in bed with me. I rested my head on her belly and I felt peace and calmness overtake the tension. I am so glad that you have these animals to cheer you up and make you happy.
ReplyDeleteP.S. I had no problem mailing to your P.O. Box today!
Arija, your toad looks like my toad (sorta of). I like my toads and my birds too. I love your appaloosa horse! So pretty! Thanks for stopping by to see me. You know, if we don't sell our house we will probably move back here in a year, so it will all work out one way or another! Thank you dear friend for all your love and support and prayers! I do hope you are doing well!
ReplyDeleteHello Arija, How lucky are you to have such amazing birds in your garden!! Your photos are gorgeous!

Hi Arija, thank you for showing your lovely friends! I enjoyed to meet them very much ... have a nice time with them! kri
ReplyDeleteDid your brother return? My husband also (not exactly) ran away to sea, but he escaped the situation at home by going to sea.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your comment! Take care.
pretty pretty and like Coldplay said 'We live in a beautiful world'... :)
ReplyDeleteI can almost feel the texture of the feathers on one of those birds! The wonders of nature come through in your pictures that are incredibly vibrant and alive. :)

ReplyDeleteon your first photo, I just love the starkness of the background and the colorful creature in the center!!!
ReplyDeleteGreat shots. My favorite is the one in flight with the partly green wing - I love how the motion comes through in that photo.
ReplyDeleteI like your garden friends. And I think frogs are cute, cute, cute. Sorry you don't have hummingbirds in Australia. I know you would love watching their antics.
ReplyDeleteyou have indeed clicked your friends beautifully!
ReplyDeleteFascinating work.
ReplyDeleteIt has been delightful
to visit your gallery.
Good Creations

ReplyDeletei like your friends! it must be awesome to have them around every day :) fabulous captures of them!
ReplyDeleteWhat a delight to see them everyday! They such beautiful friends. Great photos.
ReplyDeleteArija: Boy you have some cool birda flying by.
ReplyDeleteYour garden friends are definitely good friends. But what I have in my garden are not so friendly at all. To name a few: snakes, rabbits, squirrels and deers! LOL. Some are birds also like the ones you have but they keep on pecking on my tomatoes! LOL. but I do not mind at all because that is how nature works. Nice blog. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteI totally agree on Melanie. If there what you called friends then there is also what you called pest! I am frightened with the entire pest especially with snakes and deers. I never thought that a deer would enter into my garden that day them eat all the tomatoes that are ready to harvest. That was my very last cry for my tomatoes that I am expecting to be made into a salsa.
