Hallo Arija,
ReplyDeleteein schöner Ausblick auf die warme Jahreszeit, aber es wird bei uns noche in wenig dauern.
Gruss Hartmut
The veining is spectacular and also the drops of water on the red flowers!
ReplyDeleteI love the purple petunias Arija~~they are the same as my Dad used to always grow. I had them for a long time in pots on the porch, until the chipmunks and raccoons decided to rip through everything I put out....
ReplyDeleteI can see the photo and know exactly the smell.
Thanks for the good memory!
XXOO~~♥

Loved the veins...reminded me of the the hardy geraniums I'd seen on a blog recently. The purple ones are indeed spectacular! Liked the dewdrop photo too on that delicious pink!
ReplyDeleteI cannot look at a Petunia without thinking of my Mother. She has been gone for many years. These were her favourite flowers and no garden was complete without some Petunias. Thanks for the memories.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,Ruth
Arija, I love seeing your bright flower colors during the drab of winter here. And also knowing you Have bright blooms around you. Enjoy the summer.
ReplyDeleteIt is so good to see some colorful petunias. I plant them every summer and I certainly needed a color fix today as cold as it is here.
ReplyDeleteIn fact I grew those same blue veined petunias last summer and loved them. Have a wonderful week.
Nothing is nicer for me that potted petunias. You are right about the veining. Those purple ones are lovely!
ReplyDeleteSuperb captures as always, Arija! Love the rich colors and, like Wil, the veining and the drops of water on the red ones! Breathtaking! Hope your weekend has gone well. Take care.

I love petunias. I used to have hanging baskets of them on my deck in the summer. These are very beautiful.
ReplyDeleteAs Annaflowergardengirl can attest, I'm NOT a fan of petunias in my own garden (mostly because they don't like my cool foggy conditions) but these gave me a huge smile. Nicely done!
ReplyDeleteThese are my husband's favourite flowers and I have pots of them at all four garage (his domain) doors and on either side of the gate onto the patio. I also have a deep purple but your photos are spectacular. Thanks for sharing. Stay well my friend. Blessings, Jo
ReplyDeleteVery pretty!
ReplyDeletePetunias at their best and most colourful.
ReplyDeleteMine always end up sticky somehow. Do yours?
Bellissimi fiori... questi sono veramente molto profumati !!!
ReplyDeleteIn Italia vengono spesso messi alle finestre !
Buona serata :)
Myriam
Arija, for me these are petunias in winter! How very lovely and purple!
ReplyDeletethese are gorgeous! are petunias easy to maintain? i've seen some in a plant market but i;m worried that they would wither and die if i forget to water them in a few days.:p
ReplyDeleteOh, last summer I had petuinias of the same colors in my flower pots. :-)I love petunias because it blooms continuously. I love your flowers and photos, very much.
ReplyDeleteI love the purple that greeted me. These are beautiful flowers. Thank you for your awesome comment! Please give me a shot of your energy. My goodness. I feel so ancient. I need your zest! Tsup! Tsup!!!
ReplyDeleteBy the way, before the end of this month, I shall pen a letter. I owe so many letters. :(
ReplyDeleteThey tolerate all but te hottest weather.
ReplyDeleteI like the petunias; they bloom here in all but the hottest weather bringing color when most other flowering plants have ceased blooming in the summer heat.
ReplyDeleteThe top two with the deeper colouration with veins showing are so beautiful and they make me hungry for spring, yet we must most certainly move through winter to arrive to spring in time. Have a happy week~
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful to these flower-starved winter eyes.
ReplyDeleteEstas fotos são espetaculares! Parabéns!
ReplyDeleteWho would not want to enlarge those petunias! The colors. I wish I could be enveloped in those petals!
ReplyDeleteThose purple Petunias are a favorite and how wonderful to see that color in our "dead of winter"
