The shadow as art is true - just a little warming sun creates shadows of distinction. Be they man-made, totally natural, or like here - a lovely blend. Wonderful!

ReplyDeleteHappy New Year to you and all of your family.

through your lens
thank you for your New Years Greeting!
I wish you a year that feels wonderful to you~
Happy NY to you...
ReplyDeleteLooks you had a great summer weather.
God Bless...
Wonderful shadows! There is something beautiful and personal in your comment "...the fence and I"! Enchanting! And the dear dog resting is totally unaware of all the shadows playing round! Great series!
ReplyDeleteI am so sorry that the professor's mind is deteriorating. And the loss of your cat is also sad. In spite of this I hope that you will manage to find love and joy in 2011, Arija!
ReplyDeleteI hope that there are no bush fires again in your area. In Queensland there are large flooded areas, but my daughter's house is on a higher spot and not flooded fortunately!
Happy New Year, Arija!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful shadows, and I also love your moon photo on the previous post - so magical and wondrous!
Astonishing and delightful photography, Arija! Shadows make for such fascinating photos, and these are exquisite, especially that last one. Happy New Year from the other side of the world...
ReplyDeleteMay this be a fulfilling and pain free year.
ReplyDeleteOnce again you excel at shadow shots Arija. I really like that last shot, it's almost like a painting.
ReplyDeleteGreat shadow series!
ReplyDeleteShadows at Nostalgic Marveling, please come and see. Happy new year!
...and to you, Arija, a very HAPPY NEW YEAR!
ReplyDeleteIs that your woofer basking in those shadows...a shepherd?
oh my, that last one. soothing light, soft shadow. beautiful.
ReplyDeleteYour shadow shots are always so fascinating! I was sorry to hear that you had experienced the horrors of bushfire and can't imagine how awful that must have been. I don't know what would be worse. Bushfire or flooding? Both equally devastating I think, and my heart goes out to all who have experienced such disasters. On a brighter note, I hope you have a very Happy New Year Arija!
ReplyDeleteGreat shadow shots and an excellent post. Thanks for sharing this.
ReplyDeleteAll the best, Boonie
Nice to see you! :)
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year to and yours...
Happy New Year Arija !
ReplyDeleteI am totally interested in what on earth are you holding in your hand for the shadow shot ??
Both of them are great .. fences always seem to have a life of their own don't they .. and yes the line the "fence and I" as GT said .. lends mystery to it .. love the relaxed pooch too !
Joy : )
Arija it is the scarf whipping around in the shot then ! LOL .. I was guessing all sorts of things ;-)
ReplyDeleteAll of our weather is very screwed up isn't it ? This is SO not normal for us at this time of year .. eerie EEK!! LOL
Always so delightful to come visit your outback, your flowers are stunning and the bee-eater, what a beauty!
ReplyDeleteLet's hope this new year is filled with promise of good cheer, good faith and good love...some things you just can't live without!!!
Have a great year!
Sharon

ReplyDeleteFantastic shadow photos you have taken! My favorite is the second one. It's lovely and heartwarming!

Fabulous shadows! I love the dog in the grass photo best - we're home from Hawaii and there's no warm grass for our dog to lie in here. Too bad we couldn't take her with us.
