SkyWatch *10

This week I am posting a few different skies all
Photographed from different parts of our farm.
Some Cumulo-Nimbus looking North over
Windy Hill Paddock, the first part of our farm.

Over the fence of my garden, looking over Fern
Hill towards the western skyline

View South down to 'Hintertiersee', a paddock
named for the place in Austria we spent a glorious
alpine summer.

Looking East with the autumn leaves on the
elms of the Wild Wood.

Just to fit in for a moment with the Northern
Hemisphere some late afternoon sky behind
my grapevines on the pergola.

My thanks to the SkyWatch team for all their work
in streamlining this operation for some 400 people
around the world snapping at the sky like rabid dogs
and posting some breathtaking images you too can
share by clicking on the Logo to the right.

  18. Southern Australia..I'm so jealous! YOu're heading into summer...I'm heading into winter. I'm an avid gardner/urban farmer and really hate the long winters here in Utah, USA.
When the snow is deep here, I 'll think of your farm to keep me happy!
    Thanks for the summer inspiration!

  19. South Australia is more like our middle European countries, than like north Australia, I think, or am I mistaken? I see you have also autumn colours. Beautiful pictures! Thank you for visiting.

  25. Good Morning, Arija! These pictures are beautiful. You must have a sprawling farm to see all that beautiful sky. Thanks for sharing.

Also, thanks for stopping by my blog and commenting. I made that header myself with some rubber stamps I had. I'm glad you liked it. Have a nice day. Happy Sky Watching~

  27. Hi Arija. Thank you for your nice comment, I had to come visit you again. You have posted some fantastic Australian sky pictures this time. My favorite must be the second one with the tree against the turbulent sky. I think you are so lucky to live on a farm, far away from snow and -20 degrees cold, like it is in Norway during the winter season.

You really take nice pictures, and I love the ones from the beach further down on your blog. Really amazing. We have a long coastline in Norway, but it is not beaches, we have skerries. And it is not the same.

I wish you a nice weekend.

    Love Marit
