Light through scattered clouds
well, with just a little bit more cloud
resolving into nothing much
when, half inch hailstones smashed into the tulips
and lilac at it's best
that's spring for you, when something is perfect, boom
half an hour later, they were fluffy and innocent
like a fluffy monster swimming on a lake of clear water
or a pink iceberg.
Ah, the vagaries of weather!
gorgeous in lots of ways! sorry about the hailstorm, though.
ReplyDeleteSuch gorgeous skies, Arija, and your captures are superb! The perfect reason to look up! Have a lovely weekend!
ReplyDeleteThe hailstones are so big.....but your skies are really beautiful!
ReplyDeleteAwesome pics... Loved it
ReplyDeleteThe beauty in the sky is never ending.
ReplyDeleteLove those changing skies...spring can be flickle!
ReplyDeleteSpring definitely can be fickle! But I love the changing skies.
ReplyDeleteOh I do love the "Pink Iceberg" thought! I know, we had so many nice things growing last Spring and along came a hail storm and gone they were. I also have a very naughty cat that recently/yesterday ate the tops off of 3 plants that I have been growing from seed all Summer season. I had brought them in for the Autumn/Winter and had them protected I thought...silly kit cat, naughty kit-cat~
ReplyDeleteOh. What a succession of skies. We have had wind here - but no rain and no hail.
ReplyDeleteAnd you are still ahead of us (lilac nowhere near out). Have a beautiful weekend - and thank you for the gift of these skies.
Beautiful cloud shots Arija!
ReplyDeleteThat looks like pretty large hail. Hope your flowers recovered.
I think this is the weather in our minds as well Arija, totally unpredictable... often beautiful, sometimes destructive, then serene or humorous... just life.
ReplyDeleteAll gorgeous. Hope the flowers survived.
ReplyDeleteWe have had similar spring weather here.
ReplyDeleteI was surprised at how many Australian tourist were still climbing the Rock - its not like the "we would rather you did not climb" message is new.
Cheers - Stewart M - Melbourne
Really a great post. Not only the photos are beautiful but the sequence is amazing!
ReplyDeleteLovely photos, the hail looks just like mothballs !
ReplyDeleteArija, what fun! You said it so well and captured the images to prove it!
ReplyDeleteLovely cloud photos. So, beautiful
ReplyDeletei'm loving these skies!
ReplyDeleteHello my dearest, Arija. I am afraid to read into your comment. I have a sad feelig about it. I am so sorry to hear. What are we to do about life? Peace. The ending is peace. I suppose live it fully, well and purposefully. Be kind to others and be true and good. I do not know what else to say except I wish I could give you a hug. I love you. Tsup!
ReplyDeleteClouds and sky often present such beautiful color palettes and you have shown them in some beautiful captures, Arija.
