SkyWatch ~ Last Light Rainbow

The sun peeped out from under the westering clouds and
through the tears of heaven painted wonders in the east.

The colours bloomed and smiled, them quickly faded

as the sun slipped back behind her sheltering clouds in the
west.

Click to enlarge or spread your fingers if you are an apple fan.

Many skies full of wonders to be found behind the tiny SkyWatch
Logo at right, click and enjoy, or even better, join in with the fun.

A big thank you to our SkyWatch hosts for letting us share the beauty of our skies.

SkyWatch ~ Western Sky at Sunrise

The rising sun calls pasel hues into the western sky

*
pours gold upon the hill top trees
*

*
and for good measure, paints a gentle rainbow on the almost
cloudless sky.
*

*
I was going to pick up the Prof who was taking his car in for
service, the morning was cold which gave me a quick photo
opportunity while my car warmed up. On the way I saw six
different rainbows but could not stop since there was a) no
where to pull off the road and b) too much traffic.
*
To all of you who missed out on comments from me over the
last 10 days, I tried my best but was lucky if blogger managed
to upload one in four of them. Either I could not access the
comments page or, when I coud write on it, just would not load.
All in all a most frustrating experience since our internet works
at a snail's pace anyway. I also had comments which refuses to
load on my posts. I have not been very happy at all.
*
All photos enlarge, I recommend it for the middle one especially.

Thanks to the industry and patience of our SkyWatcg Team, we
can all join in and enjoy this popular meme.

SkyWatch ~ Sweltering Heat

The heat of the past two months has been physically challenging
forcing me to spend most of my time in a horizontal position.
My trusty laptop has also suffered and attack from cyber-space
and only came out of intensive care last night.

Somehow we both weathered our various onslaughts and survived.

One of our hot, hot sunsets over yonder hill in the west looking
just a tad menacing.

A moment of silver lining as the sun decides to briefly show
her face

and light up the bare paddocks of my favourite hill in the east.

A big thank you to all of you who have left me so many
supportive comments. Your friendship and caring thoughts
mean so much to me. I am sorry I can as yet only visit now
and then as time sitting is still limited .

The Logo unlocks hundreds of other skies.

Thanks to our fab. Team we can all enjoy each other's skies.
