My air-conditioning: a pergola covered in wisteria and

grape vines shading the front of the house

in spring the scent is pure joy as I step out of my room

and being at different heights, I don't even have to stretch or 

bend to bury my nose in it's blooms.

a Prunus with a heavenly scent



a pink Flowering Cherry

a red leaved Crabapple

a Wisteria outside my bedroom window

Bluebells and Cape Weed in the grass

Malus floribunda scenting the air

Scilla peruviana a haven for bees and a joy to the eyes.

A small flowering almond in it's second year

covered in blossom

The seasons are awry. This flowering cherry, for

the first time in 40 years, failed me on my birthday

Wisteria by our bedroom door greets me in the morning

The joy of lilac time beginning

A flush of pink this tree bedecks

whilst bluebells cluster roud it's feet

Malus floribunds, a haven for bees and Blue Wrens

and blazing pink ranunculas.
