Some people are just blessed.
My niece came for the weekend from far, far away.
Here is my private garden gnome attacking the wasteland that is
A couple of days later, there was a cleared patch and some
rounds prepared for my tulips.
She even bought me some winter cheer
which brought the sun out and a butterfly as an added bonus.
Isn't it great that flowers show up every day!
Very sweet. Everyone should have such a niece.ReplyDelete
How wonderful your niece is with you. I love that picture of her in your garden, and now for all those 100's of tulips.ReplyDelete

Herzlichst und alles Liebe aus der Schweiz
Claro que es genial, cuando nos gusta la naturaleza, un pequeño guijarro es bello.ReplyDelete
aww. i like your personal garden gnome and her gifts to you!ReplyDelete
Such lovely, lovely flowers, delightful butterfly and so wonderful to have a glimpse of color in the dull gray of winter! I'm glad your niece is visiting! Wonderful captures as always, Arija! Hope you have a beautiful weekend!ReplyDelete
What a glorious treat to have special company willing to create this beautiful spot of color in your garden.ReplyDelete
your gnome is a hard worker...magically, flowers appear!! and then the butterfly!!ReplyDelete
I just love that whenever I long for another season, I can just visit you and there it is! Thanks for reminding me how very much I do love winter!!ReplyDelete
Happy Saturday, Arija.
Pamela, and Edward too, of course
Those are the kind of visitors I like best Arija.ReplyDelete
I love your garden gnome. And could definitely have used her at our overgrown jungly place.ReplyDelete
And the winter cheer was impressive enough before the butterfly added joy.
Caring for a garden is always enjoyable. But having a gnome helper is even better.ReplyDelete
A very sweet and kind gnome it would seem. :)ReplyDelete

How Sweet!!! I adore flowers and in the months when we do not have any blooming, I like to get fresh ones at the market and have them on display near by. Hugs~ReplyDelete

I was so excited that some coreopsis seeds that a garden blogger sent me are coming up across the pond..I posted their beautiful yellow selves....and the roses are blooming also...hugs...ReplyDelete
Most of the world is a good lesson to us in that way--if we just show up, most everything else will take care of itself.ReplyDelete
What a great picture of the little butterfly - even if it does seem to be a bit unseasonal!ReplyDelete
Cheers - Stewart M
