OUR WORLD - Muddy Waters

Recently I had the great pleasure to be present at
my daughter

INDIA FLINT's

latest exhibition : "Muddy Waters"
at the Murray Bridge Regional Gallery

A combination of an exhibition she had created and shown

in New Orleans
with an Australian component created
on her return.

The works were beautifully hung
and the writing, in mud on the wall, very moving indeed.

Please take the time to visit India's blog for more photos.
Just wander down to 28 Feb., her photos are
so much better than mine and you can even read
the printed version of the text.

PS The young lady is not part of the exhibits but
rather decorative none the less.

  10. She is very talented, and I also like the photo with the young lady looking at the exhibition.

PS - I can't imagine the kind of heat you're talking about. 30C is rare at my house, and it's never been 37 as long as I've lived here!

  11. A very interesting show! Kudos to India! I like your photo with the girl intently studying the exhibit. It makes for a much more dynamic photo than the exhibit by itself would be.

  14. I'll pop over to your daughters blog just after I click submit!

The weather in Melbourne sound the same as yours - we should get a cool change by lunch time on Wednesday - which is about time!

  15. Hi - I forgot to answer you question. As far as I am aware that shells on the beach are just tide wash, not a midden. When we were on the island I lady who has been visiting for over 10 years said that a lot of the shells were recent and had washed up since scallop dredging was stopped in the Bay.
